RULES

Here you will find all the information about the registration of your dance group/school, information about age categories and disciplines.

The organiser will also check the video you have uploaded (more information in the Registration section) and confirm whether you are registered for the correct discipline or suggest a more suitable one.

The aim is to have each dance choreography in the correct discipline and category before the start of the competition. This way, no additional changes will be necessary during the competition.

Age categories

In each age category, dancers 2 years younger or 2 years older can be included in one group. 

However, these dancers may constitute no more than 50% of the dancers in the entire group.

Choreography using MAINLY one or more of the following dance styles: ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern, and techniques such as Jose Limon technique, Lester Horton technique, Martha Graham technique, Merce Cunningham technique, etc.
Other dance styles may be used as long as they do not constitute the majority of the choreography.

DISCO DANCE

Choreography using MAINLY disco dance techniques, involving body pump, where the body moves in basic contractions and extensions, in a fast and synchronized way, preferably using music associated with these dance styles (Disco, House, Pop, Techno, Trance, etc.).

The choreography usually includes jumps such as aerial, back handspring, etc. 

Other dance styles can be used as long as they do not constitute the majority of the choreography.

Choreographies using ANY dance style from the BOB competition disciplines and others not included such as Cheerleaders, Latino, Majorettes, Ballroom choreography, etc.
Discipline format where all styles compete against each other.
The most important thing is to work and develop a theme and it is mandatory to use both props and scenery.

Other dance styles such as Bboyin', Hip Hop Dance/Old School, House Dance, Locking, Popping can also be used as long as they do not constitute the majority of the choreography.

Other dance styles can also be used, such as Video Dancing/

New School/L.A. Style, Waacking, Voguing, Lyrical Hip Hop, Dancehall, as long as they do not constitute the majority of the choreography.

Use of theme and topic is permitted but not required.

All dancers have to be at least 25 years old (no 2 years younger tolerance)
